Oct. 28, 2025 - Israeli forces killed three Palestinians near Jenin, prompting condemnation from Islamic Jihad as Israel expands military operations and land confiscations.

The Islamic Jihad Movement condemned the killing of the three young men, calling it another episode in Israel’s ongoing war crimes and systematic aggression. 

The movement said the use of snipers and aerial bombardment in civilian areas marked a dangerous escalation and reflected “the extent of the occupation’s brutality.”

⛔*The "Israeli" occupation has committed 125 violations of the ceasefire resolution since it entered into force, resulting in the martyrdom of 94 citizens and the injury of more than 344 others*

The "Israeli" occupation continues to blatantly and systematically violate the ceasefire agreement, as it has committed more than (125) violations since the resolution entered into force, resulting in the martyrdom of (94) civilians and the injury of (344) others, in a flagrant violation of all international norms and conventions. The occupation also carried out (52) shooting operations directly targeting civilians, and (9) incursions of its vehicles into residential neighborhoods, crossing what is known as the yellow line, in addition to (55) shelling and targeting operations and (11) bombing operations of civilian buildings, as well as the arrest of (21) citizens in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

We condemn in the strongest terms these repeated aggressive violations and hold the "Israeli" occupation fully responsible for their humanitarian and security repercussions. We emphasize that their continuation constitutes a clear threat to undermine the spirit of the agreement and a violation of the occupation's obligations to the international community and the guarantor states.

We also call on US President Donald Trump, the guarantor states, and the mediators to assume their responsibilities and exert real pressure on the occupation to compel it to immediately cease its violations and respect the commitments it signed.

We also call for the immediate and full opening of the crossings, facilitating the clear entry of food and aid trucks, not just a partial one, as well as the entry of treatment, medicines, and medical supplies. We also call for the opening of the Rafah crossing to transfer thousands of wounded and sick people for treatment abroad, and for the entry of shelter materials such as tents, plastic sheets, and tarpaulins in conjunction with the onset of winter, to ensure the catastrophe facing more than 2.4 million people in the Gaza Strip does not worsen.

Oct. 20, 2025 - A few months after October 7, I [Yuval Abraham, journalist and filmmaker] enrolled in an introductory course on genocide at the Open University of Israel. The lecturer began the first class by telling us — about 20 Jewish-Israeli students gathered on Zoom — that by the end of the semester we would understand exactly what genocide entails and be able to explain why Israel is not committing genocide in Gaza.

In a nutshell, his argument was this: At most, Israel might be destroying Gaza, but its actions are driven by military objectives rather than an “intent to destroy” a specific group “as such,” as the Genocide Convention outlines. Without this intent, he concluded, the term genocide does not apply.

Oct. 24, 2025 - The olive harvest in Palestine began less than two weeks ago, and already it is shaping up to be one of the most violent yet. Across much of the West Bank, Israeli forces are preventing Palestinian farmers from reaching their groves — even in areas where access was unhindered during last year’s deadly harvest season — and arresting and deporting international activists assisting the farmers. At the same time, settlers are destroying olive groves, cutting down trees and lighting them on fire, while attacks on harvesters are growing in both frequency and severity.

Ben Gvir calls for death penalty as he faces bound Palestinian prisoners

Oct. 23, 2025 - Israeli Minister Itamar Ben Gvir was filmed at an Israeli prison where he called for the execution of Palestinian detainees.

In a viral clip, the far-right national security minister was seen standing in front of a cell, declaring that Palestinian detainees "deserve a death penalty law."

The video then pans to several Palestinians inside the cell, shackled and kneeling in a stress position with their backs to the camera.

His remarks come as parliament prepares to debate a series of controversial bills, including one that would impose the death penalty on those convicted of terrorism.

The former UN high commissioner for human rights in October 2021 said Israel's counter-terrorism legislation must not be applied to legitimate human rights and humanitarian work.

"Claiming rights before a UN or other international body is not an act of terrorism, advocating for the rights of women in the occupied Palestinian territory is not terrorism, and providing legal aid to detained Palestinians is not terrorism," Michelle Bachelet said at the time.

Israel's genocide in Gaza impossible without global complicity, UN report says

Oct. 22, 2025 - A new United Nations report reveals that more than 60 countries are complicit in the "collective crime" of enabling Israel's genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza.

An advanced version of the report by UN special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, was made available on Monday. 

In her second report this year, Albanese called the genocide a “collective crime, sustained by the complicity of influential Third States that have enabled longstanding systemic violations of international law by Israel".

Albanese highlighted that the US used its UN Security Council veto power seven times to control ceasefire negotiations and provide diplomatic cover for the genocide. But she notes that the US did not act alone. It was helped by abstentions and delays, as well as watered-down draft resolutions from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Where Is Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya? Calls Grow for Israel to Release Imprisoned Gaza Healthcare Workers

Oct. 14, 2025 - Pressure is mounting for Israel to release many more detainees as part of the U.S.-backed Gaza ceasefire deal, including Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Gaza's Kamal Adwan Hospital, who has been held under harsh conditions without charge since December, when Israeli troops stormed the hospital — claiming without evidence it was a Hamas command center. Soldiers forced Dr. Abu Safiya out at gunpoint along with patients he had refused to abandon. Famous footage shows him wearing his white medical coat as he climbed over rubble to walk toward an Israeli tank before he was detained.

Naji Abbas, director of the Prisoners Department at Physicians for Human Rights Israel, says that Abu Safiya is one of at least 19 doctors held in Israeli detention without charge. "They are facing a very serious risk for their health and for their lives," says Abbas. "They are being tortured. They are facing violence daily."
