Oct. 30, 2025 - Sources close to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Yedioth Ahronoth that he is considering amending the Official Investigation Committee Law to remove the clause that allows the committee to issue personal recommendations against public officials.
This move comes after a ruling by Israel’s Supreme Court requiring the government to announce the formation of an official state commission of inquiry into the events of October 7, 2023, by mid-November.
